I went from the groom's home photographing the lads getting ready (googling how to tie a Windsor knot!) to Cranberries where the girls were having their hair done by Natalie Nichols and make-up by Enya Zofia Make-Up. Beautiful wedding cars took them up to Shute Church and then back to Cranberries for group photos and a very funny but emotional wedding reception dinner. Haselbury Mill near Crewkerne is a lovely venue, with picturesque and very green surroundings, an outside ceremony area and a beautiful golden stone barn for receptions. The bride had her bridal preparations in the house on site with her bridesmaids and was driven in one of the Mill's own classic cars round the grounds to the barn door where she alighted, had her veil adjusted! and walked with her brother to the outdoor ceremony. Group photos were taken with the barn and lake as backdrop and then guests had drinks while I whisked the couple away a little bit for private bridal and couple photos. What a beautiful Wiltshire town Tisbury is! And right next to the gorgeous Fonthill Bishop park. I loved it round there. This lovely couple were getting married in the town's church and then the bride's parents were hosting the huge marquee wedding in their field (with a lake!) at home. They had done it three times before for other children so were used to it, and mum even does all the catering! The weather was gorgeous for this relaxed country-style wedding at Colehayes with its gorgeous gardens, open air ceremony, cork tree and wood-panelled dancing room. The day started with the girls getting ready in the cottage, followed by the ceremony surrounded by the trees, flowers and beautiful views. The bride wore a knee length floaty dress and looked like a fairy, particularly when she and her new husband scampered up into the huge cork tree for photos! This was such an amazing venue for a wedding! Glorious 11th century manor house near Buckland Filleigh in Devon with a deep red ceremony room, high ceilings, wood panelling and lovely grounds for photos.
